American motorcycle marque Victory Motorcycles is set to introduce a new model in its line up next month. Dubbed the Victory Octane, the American firm released a short teaser video this week, but not much is revealed.
The brief video features engine noises and smoke, but does not show the bike fully. The video does contain a link at the end that takes users to a webpage detailing the development of the brand’s most powerful engine called the Project 156. Originally built as a prototype, the mill was used in Victory’s race bike project for the famed Pikes Peak hillclimb.
A production version of the engine was revealed by Victory at EICMA 2015, with the firm stating it would debut it in a new production model with a displacement of 1,200cc, to which all signs point towards this newly teased bike.
Victory also unveiled a second concept bike, called the Victory Combustion concept, shortly after EICMA 2015 that uses the same 1200cc engine.
